Evidence collected by investigators with the BC Wildfire Service suggests at least 10 separate wildfires in three distinct areas of Northern B.C. had been deliberately set.
To date, there is no word on whether any arrests have been made, or whether any are imminent.
Hefty fines and jail time can be levied against anyone found to have started a wildfire. Fines can reach upwards of $1 million.
