Not Adding Up | First Nations Leader Warns Prosperity In Peril | RegWatch (Live)

Just over a month ago, it appeared radical environmental activists were close to achieving a long-sought goal: to #ShutdownCanada by strangling the energy and resource sector into oblivion.

Across the country, protests erupted and blockades were erected, paralyzing Canada’s national transportation system, in support of the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs who call for the cancellation of the $6.6 billion Coastal GasLink pipeline project in Northern B.C.

What the protests failed to accomplish in February may be finished by the coronavirus economic shutdown and a global crash in the price of oil.

In this episode of RegWatch we are joined by Chris Sankey, a member of the Coast Tsimshian community and former elected Councilor for the Lax Kw’ Alaams Band near Prince Rupert, B.C. Sankey argues federal and provincial governments are failing to protect Canada’s economic and social interests; are captured by a globalist agenda; and are quick to sacrifice Canada’s current prosperity for the promise of a fossil-fuel-free future.

Now with the response to the COVID-19 pandemic crushing the global economy and with environmental activists seeking to exploit social and economic chaos, Sankey says enough!
