Former B.C. lottery head faces investigation by gaming branch

Former BC Lottery Corporation CEO Michael Graydon, who was found to have broken conflict rules in taking a job with a private gambling firm, is also facing an investigation by the province’s gaming policy and enforcement branch.

The provincial branch, which is in charge of licensing and regulating gambling operations, is examining whether Graydon is handling any casino or gaming duties for his new employer, PV Hospitality.

The company, an affiliate of Paragon Gaming Inc., is proposing a $535-million casino and resort beside BC Place.
