On Monday, July 6, the Ontario Racing Commission provided an update on the merger that is currently underway between the ORC and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Via release, the ORC announced that ORC CEO Steve Lehman will be relinquishing his position, as he has accepted the position of Executive Advisor, Audit and Financial Investigations with the AGCO.
The release also explains that Lehman will be replaced by Jean Major, who has a strong background in – and knowledge of – horse racing, having served as CEO of the ORC from 1995 to 2004 prior to joining the AGCO. The announcement has quoted ORC Chair Elmer Buchanan as saying…
