B.C.’s ‘big data’ healthcare scheduling solution for care homes during coronavirus pandemic

A Vancouver-based company quickly stepped up when B.C’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry ordered that healthcare workers in care home should only work at a single facility.

Appnovation crunched the schedules of more than 100,000 staff at more than 1200 facilities, to help the government allocate staff and resources. Aaron McArthur reports.
