Local burlesque performer thrilled at change of nudity definition

Burlesque performers are thrilled at the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission’s decision to remove uncovered female breasts from its definition of nudity.

Until now, burlesque performers could not show their breasts while dancing in bars and could only strip clubs.

Arabella Allure, president of the Edmonton Burlesque Festival, tells 630CHED’s Ryan Jespersen, there is a big difference between burlesque and stripping.
