The B.C. Securities Commission has alleged that Richard Gozdek and two other Lower Mainland men illegally sold investments in an Oklahoma oil deal to more than two dozen B.C. residents.
In a notice of hearing, the commission alleges that Gozdek, Darwin (James) Okano and Mohammed Soolaman sold $781,502 worth of investments in Armadillo Energy Inc. to 26 B.C. investors without being registered to sell securities and without filing a prospectus with the commission.
I have written extensively about Gozdek. He runs a financial advisory firm called Sterling Financial Group from his home in Abbotsford.
