NEB Report Outlines Best Available Pipeline Technologies

The National Energy Board (NEB) has published a report that provides a detailed overview of the current state of pipeline technology and best practices used to keep people safe and the environment protected, including environment-specific considerations.

The report, entitled Best Available Technologies in Federally—Regulated Pipelines , examined: leak prevention and response; impact on water bodies and agricultural land; waste management; pipeline abandonment; and air emissions management.
