One of the most important participants in the National Energy Board hearings for the Kinder-Morgan pipeline application, Marc Eliesen, has just resigned from the process.
Eliesen has a long history in the energy sector, including positions as CEO of BC Hydro, chairman of Manitoba Hydro, deputy minister in seven federal and provincial governments, and a board member at Suncor.
He resigned because he found the process a sham and a farce.
The evidence is multifold. The NEB eliminated oral cross-examination, a process without which a proponent can get away with making false claims.
