Hit Job? | Vaping industry responds to Globe and Mail exposé | RegWatch (Live)

The Globe and Mail, Canada’s leading progressive newspaper, published a 5,000-word attack on the Canadian vaping industry at the end of last week and then followed up with a searing editorial on Sunday.

As it appears, the purpose of the exposé is to reveal scandalous and potentially criminal marketing practices of numerous Canadian vape companies. In what the Globe and Mail deem is an effort to hook a new generation of young people on nicotine.

Joining us today on RegWatch is Shai Bekman, he’s a board member of the Canadian vaping association and founder and CEO of DashVapes, the largest independently owned e-cigarette retailer and e-liquid manufacturer in Canada addresses the litany of charges leveled by the Globe and Mail.

Is this simply a hit job or is there merit to the claims?
