On the Brink | Canadian Vapers Brace for Impact | RegWatch (Live)

Change is imminent for Canadian vapers and the vaping industry, that much is certain.

Provincially, the Nova Scotia government’s flavour ban is set to take effect on April 1. In Ontario, there’s saber-rattling over flavours. And the government of British Columbia is pushing a 10-point plan designed to crush vaping; which could serve as a template for Alberta and other vape wary provinces.

Federally, Health Canada continues to advance (cautiously) a prescriptive approach that would demand more from the industry in order to save flavours and stay viable.

In this edition of RegWatch we take a deep dive into the regulatory machinations taking place across the country with the Canadian Vaping Association’s executive director and lead advocate Darryl Tempest.
