Subversion | Wet’suwet’en Protests Eclipse Pipeline Politics | RegWatch (Live)

For nearly three weeks, protests and blockades in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs who oppose the $6.6 billion Coastal GasLink pipeline project in northern B.C., have shut down railways and ports across the country in an unprecedented disruption of Canada’s national transportation network.

Exports are stuck on idle trains, police are hamstrung, and the federal and provincial governments appear impotent to act. Canada is being held hostage and the question is: By whom?

RegWatch launches special coverage of the Wet’suwet’en protests with an examination of the groups, activists (many non-indigenous,) and foreign funding behind the assault on Canadian sovereignty; and how these radicals usurp First Nations issues in order to advance their own anti-western agenda.
